• Time magazine political writer HUGH SIDEY, who has written about every president from Dwight Eisenhower to George W. Bush, will join Edward Jones financial experts in a free, interactive satellite broadcast discussion of the 1993 outlook for the nation, economy and financial markets. Sidey's career has included many historic events, including being with President John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated, aboard Air Force One during Richard Nixon's historic trip to China, and observing Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev's historic walk through Red Square. • "Critical Insights on What It REALLY Takes To Build and Grow Start-ups and Emerging Companies in Hawai'i" will be the focus of an upcoming "Technology and emerging Companies CEO Forum" sponsored by Pacific Business Forum. • A free COMPUTER BOOT CAMP is offered 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to all small business owners interested in using computer technology to improve and expand business operations and management. The program is sponsored by the Small Business Resource Center in partnership with the Small Business Administration, city Office of Economic Development, Hawai'i Small Business Development Center Network, Hawai'i Women's Business Center and SCORE.
