Outrigger adds new resort in Australia

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts announced today it will manage a new $9.5 million, 31-unit resort in Australia, its 12th property in that country.The Outrigger in the Village will open in February in Port Douglas in the North Queensland tourism area.
The condominium resort is being developed by Cairns-based George Dimitri.
Outrigger has a goal of operating at least 20 properties in the region by 2004.
