Three infants' deaths probed

Honolulu police are investigating three unattended-death cases involving infants, according to homicide Lt. Bill Kato.

The medical examiner's office requested lab tests on the deaths of an 8-month-old Wai'anae girl, a 7-month-old Mo'ili'ili boy and 4-month-old Wai'anae boy, who died Jan. 12, Jan. 9 and Jan. 1, respectively. Police are awaiting findings from those tests to rule out foul play, Kato said.
