Police investigate three infant deaths

Honolulu police are investigating three unattended-death cases involving infants, according to homicide Lt. Bill Kato.

The medical examiner's office requested lab tests on the deaths of an 8-month-old Wai'anae girl, a 7-month-old Mo'ili'ili boy and 4-month-old Wai'anae boy, who died Jan. 12, Jan. 9 and Jan. 1, respectively.

Police are awaiting findings from those tests to rule out foul play, Kato said.

One of the men flashed a handgun to the doorman, while the other men took money from the cashier and customers before running out of the building, police said.

No suspects have been arrested in the case.
