Tonight's Must-See

"Monte Walsh," 6 and 8:30 p.m., TNT; repeats Saturday and Sunday. Tom Selleck and Simon Wincer know how a Western should look and feel. Selleck captures the cowboy persona. He has the slow, easy rhythms. Wincer, the Australian director and horse lover, has the touch for humans amid sprawling landscapes. Together, they've done "Crossfire Trail" and "Quigley Down Under." Keith Carradine, George Eads, William Devane also star, and Isabella Rossellini plays Selleck's gorgeous lover. They offer an affectionate look at a distant age and the men who clung to it.

"Final Justice" premiere, 8 p.m., Lifetime. Erin Brockovich knows all about fighting the system. Now she introduces stories about other women who fought and won. The first story was told by Lifetime in its "Video Voyeur" movie, but is fascinating to hear from the real person: Louisiana native Susan Wilson rarely disagreed with authorities, the church or men. Then she learned a neighbor had planted video cameras in her bedroom and bathroom. Quickly, their church forgave him and authorities gave him a mild punishment. Wilson went on a successful campaign to change laws.

Of Note

"Mister Sterling," 7 p.m., NBC. Tonight, Mister Sterling bumbles his first press conference — and his dad (James Whitmore) races in for advice.

"Presidio Med," 7 p.m., CBS. After a long break, this series returns with new episodes. Tonight's hour focuses on the baby specialists, played by Blythe Danner (Gwyneth Paltrow's mom) and Julianne Nicholson. They have successes and failures in an show that's rough on the characters and the viewers.

"Hack," 8 p.m., CBS. A hit-and-run death is considered an accident, but Mike suspects murder.

"Queens Supreme," 9 p.m., CBS. Last week's premiere bubbled over with wit, drama and vivid characters. Tonight, Judge Moran (Oliver Platt) faces danger from the mob in a case involving a hit man.
