CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are requesting help in finding Jack Kulii Viela, who is wanted for a parole violation.
Viela, 35, also is wanted for questioning about residential burglaries in the East Honolulu area. He has a previous conviction for a residential burglary, frequents the Palolo, Kaimuki and Waikiki areas and is considered dangerous by police.
Viela also goes by Jack Kiuei Viela and Jack Kalii Viela. He is described as 5 feet 10 and 280 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache.

Teen mom arrested in shoplifting
Police on Wednesday arrested a 17-year-old Waipahu girl suspected of trying to shoplift $1,700 worth of clothing from the Macy's store at Pearlridge Center.
The girl entered the store at 8:38 p.m. with her 1-year-old baby in a stroller and went directly to a Tommy Bahama's clothing display, store security told police. She stuffed shirts valued at $1,700 into a backpack before walking out, police said. She was caught shortly after by store security.
Police released her pending further investigation.
2 suspects arrested in armed robbery
Police yesterday arrested two men, ages 23 and 19, in the robbery of a Pearl City woman at gunpoint Wednesday night as she was going into her apartment building in the 98-400 block of Kamehameha Highway.
The robbery was reported at 11:55 p.m.
The woman, 42, told police that one of the robbers threatened her with a handgun and demanded money. In a struggle over her purse, the gunman struck the woman in the face with the weapon.
The woman called police, who arrested the two suspects nearby.
The woman was treated at Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi for injuries and released.
Rookie officers to graduate tonight
The Honolulu Police Department's 142nd recruit class will graduate tonight at 7 at the Hawai'i Okinawa Center.
The recruit class of 20 men and five women began training July 11.
Upon graduation, the new officers will be assigned to patrol duties with veteran officers in the field.
Police Chief Lee Donohue and recruit Christopher Calio are scheduled to speak at the ceremony. Awards will be presented for highest firearms score, best athletic ability, class scholar, most inspirational recruit and outstanding leader.
Man arrested in home invasion
A 22-year-old man was arrested early yesterday for questioning about a home-invasion robbery Wednesday night on Pu'amaeole Street in 'Ewa.
Police tracked down the man through license plate information on the getaway car provided by the victim of the 11 p.m. robbery.
The victim told police two men, one of whom had a gun, forced their way into his home and took home-entertainment equipment when he could not meet their demands for cash.
The arrest occurred at 12:30 a.m. The second intruder is still at large, police said.
