CALLS TO ARTISTS

Volcano Joe's announces a mural contest for its University location. Artists are invited to submit a sketch for the mural — 13 feet, 9 inches by 9 feet, 9 inches — which incorporates a volcano and a cartoon image of "Volcano Joe" in an aloha shirt. Winning artist must be able to complete the mural, with supplies provided by the company, within 30 days of the announcement of the winner, who receives a $250 gift certificate, on Feb. 7.
