Kane'ohe names citizen of year
The Kane'ohe Neighborhood Board has recognized Auntie Alice Hewett as Kane'ohe Citizen of the Year.

Hewett, mother of Hawaiian health practitioner Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett, has been a timeless friend, said Wong, adding that three years ago she was grand marshal for the Kane'ohe Christmas Parade.
