KEY SENATE VOTES

1. Clean air rules

The Senate voted 50-46 to reject a move to postpone implementation of new clean air rules. A "yea" vote was to postpone the rules.

Hawai'i votes: Daniel Akaka (D) YEA; Dan Inouye (D) DID NOT VOTE

2. Drought aid

The Senate voted 59-35 to adopt an amendment to provide $3.1 billion in drought aid to counties. A "yea" vote was to adopt the drought aid plan.

Hawai'i votes: Daniel Akaka (D) NAY; Dan Inouye (D) DID NOT VOTE

3. Omnibus spending

The Senate voted 69-29 to pass a $390 billion omnibus spending bill that would pay for most government operations in fiscal 2003. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.
