Iolani outlasts Punahou, 56-42

First-place Iolani had all it could handle against Punahou in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game last night at Iolani.

The teams went to overtime tied at 41, but Iolani (8-0) turned it on by outscoring Punahou (4-4) 15-1 in the four-minute period en route to a 56-42 win.

Derrick Low scored a game-high 19 points, Bobby Nash added 17 and Kyle Pape 11 for Iolani.

Punahou's Chris Friedemann hit a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime. Friedemann scored a team-high 13 points.
