Portraits to wear
Florinda's can put a favorite photo (of a valentine, perhaps?) inside a tiny frame that hangs from a lapel pin in the shape of a heart, or a key to your heart, for $110.
If your valentine is of the furry variety, a leather necklace with a pendant photo of a favorite pet is $98. Framed photo bracelets also make great gifts.
Valentine's Day orders must be received by Feb. 5. Call Riches Kahala at 737-3303 to order.
Correction: The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is holding one talk-story session to discuss a five-year strategic plan this week, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Campbell Building in Kapolei. Other meeting times listed in a previous version of these breifs were wrong. The Tuesday and Wednesday meetings were held last week.
