Cruise line calls off Hawai'i trip

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., the world's second-largest cruise line company, canceled two Hawai'i sailings of its Infinity ship to make repairs, reducing first-quarter profit by 3 cents to 4 cents a share.
Miami-based Royal Caribbean called off an 11-day trip from Ensenada, Mexico, to Hawai'i set to sail Sunday, and a planned 10-day return trip from Hawai'i to Ensenada starting Feb. 13. The Infinity ship sails on Royal Caribbean's Celebrity line, said spokesman Michael Sheehan.
The cancellations follow a recent spate of illnesses on ships and a sluggish economy, which may cut trip bookings in the first quarter, analysts said.
