Tonight's Must-See

"Life With Bonnie," 7:30 p.m., ABC. In its first season, Bonnie Hunt's show ranged from interesting to great. Ratings were iffy, but the network is bringing it back. Now "Bonnie" reruns return starting with one of the best. It has David Duchovny ("The X-Files") as a TV weatherman who guest stars on Bonnie's TV talk show.

"P.O.V.: Larry v. Lockney," 10 p.m., PBS. Lockney is a West Texas town of 2,056, one county over from Lubbock. It reached national headlines when one farmer, Larry Tannahill, opposed mandatory drug testing for kids in junior and senior high. Some outsiders wanted to characterize that as a hicks-vs.-hero battle. What this documentary shows is far more interesting. It finds near-identical traits in school board members and Tannahill. They speak from the heart. Lockney comes across as a pleasant place shaken by a collision of good intentions.

Of Note

"Last Comic Standing," 8 p.m., NBC. Last week's episode had Sean Kent, the Stetson-wearing Texan, receive the most challenges. Surprisingly, he chose to compete with Dave Mordal, the drolly funny comic from Elk River, Minn. Mordal got 73 percent of the audience vote and Kent was gone. Now nine comedians remain.

"Keen Eddie," 8 p.m., Fox. This well-made series mixes some human drama alongside its comedy and action. Tonight, Eddie tries to stop illegal fights; he soon feels a concern for a well-meaning lunk who's fighting for the money.

"Meet My Folks," 9 p.m., NBC. On Monday five women competed to accompany Marco Dapper to California. His parents trimmed the field to three and will pick a winner tonight. There are challenges first, including a kickboxing match.

"Lucky," 10 p.m., FX. An excellent series ends tonight with complex emotions that leave viewers in limbo.
