Tube Notes

Tonight's Must-See

"The Scream Team" (2002), 8 p.m., Disney Channel. Most Disney Channel movies tend to be slick and reasonably entertaining. This one adds wit and special effects. In a small town, kids are helping close up a house and smooth some family feuds. Then they learn the place is haunted. There are some wonderful comic moments from the ghosts, particularly Tommy Davidson and Kathy Najimy. There are even some moments of surprising warmth.

Of Note

"Boarding House: North Shore," 7 p.m., WB. There continue to be bad feelings between two of the young surfing stars. Holly Beck is serious and focused; Veronica Kay — who makes steady money as a swimsuit model — likes to let loose. Tonight, Holly fumes when she has to help pay for hotel damages caused by Veronica and friends.

"Perfect Murder, Perfect Town" (2000), conclusion, 8 p.m., CBS. Here's the second half of the miniseries that watches police try to solve the JonBenet Ramsey murder. The film is skillfully written and acted. Like the case itself, however, it's ultimately frustrating.

"The Drew Carey Show," 8 and 8:30 p.m., ABC. In the first of two new episodes, Drew wedges into Kellie's karaoke act. In the second, he and a lesbian friend are after the same woman.

"Moments in Time" debut, 6 and 9 p.m., Discovery Channel. In 1953, Walter Cronkite narrated a CBS series, "You Are There." In the half-century since then, other shows have tackled that notion of revisiting a single moment in history. Now cable has a version, using both re-enactments and modern commentary. The opener meets George Washington and his troops in the Valley Forge of 1777-1778.

"Dating Experiment," 9 p.m., ABC. Two friends from San Diego compete for the affection of a mortgage broker in Chicago.
