One evening, I was rushing around the house, trying to get all the chores done, when I suddenly stopped to watch a breaking news story on television.

I desperately needed to use the bathroom. I told my 8-year-old, and said I didn't want to miss the news.

She turned to me and said, "Mommy, just do the hokey-pokey 'cause it works for me!"
