Christopher Cole and his son, Dylan Christopher Kaaina Cole, 1 1/2, were the winners in the 16th annual dad/baby look-alike contest at Ward Warehouse. The pair wore the same aloha shirt print, the same floppy hat and the same beard and mustache (painted on Dylan) and made the same funny-face. A benefit for the March of Dimes, the event is staged by the Chinese Jaycees and Victoria Ward and cosponsored by Meadow Gold.

Dan Sinclair played "Danny Boy" on the bagpipes on Kalaniana'ole Highway. Sinclair, a member of the Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawai'i, practices in the area near Lana'i Lookout regularly. He says it helps him relax after work.
