Grilling veggies? Pre-nuking may be helpful
Grilled vegetables, such as zucchini, eggplant and onions, often end up charred but still raw inside. To avoid this, microwave thickly sliced vegetables briefly, then brush them with olive oil and cook them on the grill, turning once, until tender.
