• Randy Smith's Frank Sinatra tribute show, which was to be staged Friday at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel's Monarch Room, has been canceled because conductor Frank Diehl is hospitalized. Comedian Rip Taylor was to appear. An item in the Show Biz column posted yesterday was incorrect.

• Eric Yamamoto, a University of Hawai'i law professor, will receive the Patsy Mink Justice Award at a dinner sponsored by the Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii on Friday. His name was misspelled in a Local News story posted yesterday. Also, Minoru Yasui was one of three citizens convicted and imprisoned under false pretenses in 1942. His name was misspelled in the same story.

• The city argued, and a court ruled last week, that the city was not a sponsor of the Kid's Parade held in conjunction with the city's Family Day in Waikiki. A column posted yesterday was not clear on the court ruling.
