Service tomorrow for Nanakuli accident victims

Advertiser Staff

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Kaneohe Missionary Baptist Church for Paul Brzezowski, 48, and his son Matthew, 7, who were killed June 27 when they were struck in a crosswalk in Nanakuli.

The church is at 45-131 Waikapoki in Kane'ohe.

Aloha attire is requested at the church service. Ashes will be scattered at sea after a memorial service at 10 a.m. Sunday at Poka'i Bay Beach Park.

Memorial funds have been established for the family, which is homeless. Contributions can be made to the Brzezowski Memorial Fund at any Bank of Hawaii branch or the Brzezowski Community Fund at any First Hawaiian Bank branch.

A benefit concert will be held Aug. 24 to raise money for the family's expenses. To volunteer, contribute or help, call Ivan Laikupu at 696-2337 or Patty Teruya at 527-5815.
