Kendall N.H. Hee, president of Engineers Surveyors Hawaii Inc., is the 10th business executive to be arrested since June 25 in the Honolulu prosecutor's probe into financial contributions made to Mayor Jeremy Harris' political campaign.

Hee, 42, was arrested yesterday at 12:30 p.m. on suspicion of money laundering, illegal ownership of a business, monopolization and making false-name contributions. He was released pending further investigation after being booked.

The other executives arrested recently and accused of similar offenses are Wesley Segawa, head of Wesley Segawa & Associates; Jeffrey Wong, president of NTW Associates Inc.; Linton H.L. Lee, NTW treasurer; Edward K. Noda, vice president of a company that bears his name; Hai Shi, president of Global Tours & Travel Hawaii; Sam Kyu Hyun, president of W.A. Hirai and Associates, and R.M. Towill Corp. vice presidents Kenneth T. Sakai and Roy T. Tsutsui and the company's comptroller, Nancy K. Matsuno.

Hee's sister — Deanne H. Grathwohl, 39 — and her husband Dean, 40, were also arrested yesterday on suspicion of money laundering and making false-name contributions. Both were released pending further investigation.
