Hai Shi, president of Global Tours & Travel Hawaii, and his wife were arrested Sunday on suspicion of money laundering, making false-name contributions and exceeding the limits of per-person donations allowed for non-U.S. citizens in connection with the city prosecutor's investigation into Mayor Jeremy Harris' political campaign.

Shi and his wife, Jackie Wong-Shi, were booked and released pending further investigation.

Two others, Dean and Deanna Grathwhorl, were arrested and released pending further investigation yesterday on suspicion of making false-name contributions.

On Saturday, Kenneth T. Sakai, a 59-year-old vice president for R.M. Towill Corp., was arrested on suspicion of money laundering, making a campaign donation using a false name and illegal ownership of a business.

Sakai is the third R.M. Towill executive to be arrested in the past three weeks.
