99¢ Superstore will be fourth

Marukai Corp. will open a 99¢ Superstore inside of Sack 'N Save at Stadium Marketplace. The 99¢ store, the company's fourth, will have its grand opening at 8 a.m. July 26.

Marukai opened its first 99¢ store in 1998 at the Victoria Ward shopping complex. The second store opened in Waipahu last year; the third opened at Windward Mall in May.



Outrigger gets Pegasus hookup

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts signed a three-year contract with Pegasus Software Inc. that will allow the hotel chain to connect its properties to the travel industry's major distribution networks and Internet sites.

The agreement will provide agents and consumers with access to Outrigger's room inventory and rates for real-time reservations.

The Pegasus system "could exponentially increase our reservations volume and processing efficiencies," said Alan White, Outrigger's vice president for operations and information technology.
