Matson names president, CEO

James Andrasick, who has been serving on an interim basis as Matson Navigation Co.'s president and chief executive officer, has been appointed to the positions, it was announced yesterday.

Andrasick's appointment takes effect Aug. 1. He will move to the Bay Area in California where Matson is headquartered.

Andrasick will continue to serve as executive vice president of Alexander & Baldwin Inc., parent of Matson Navigation.
