Potluck planned for Arab-Jewish Dialogue Day

A local event is planned for this weekend as part of Global Arab-Jewish Dialogue Day, when Jews and Arabs worldwide will gather in their communities.
Aloha Peace House, a local grassroots organization, will host a potluck from noon to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Kapi'olani Park between the bandstand and Waikiki Shell, with speakers, music, Israeli dancers, Sufi dancers and more.
A fund will be started for a pilot project to bring eight youths from Israel and Palestine to learn about aloha and conflict resolution.
Speakers include Saleem Ahmed, Husamuddin Akhras and Reynold Feldman.
