Hawaiian posts net of $9.6M

Hawaiian Airlines reported $9.6 million in net income for June, which gave the airline $7.7 million in net income for the first half of the year.Hawaiian filed for bankruptcy protection in March and reported to the bankruptcy court in an unaudited report that it had a June operating income of $10.7 million, compared to $13.8 million for the first six months of 2003.
In the second quarter of 2002, Hawaiian Airlines’ parent company reported financial losses of more than $30 million.
