A Business story posted Sunday erroneously described advice from a credit counselor. The story should have said that increasing the number of dependents when calculating tax withholding would mean more money in a couple's paychecks.
When a business is seeking a liquor license for the first time, the business must notify two-thirds of homes and businesses within a 500-foot radius of the liquor establishment. A Local News story posted yesterday said another entity was responsible for the notifications.
The Department of Defense has renamed the Total Information Awareness project the Terrorism Information Awareness program. A Local News story posted Saturday did not reflect the name change.
