Makakilo native Mary King, 26, can be seen on three pages, dancing and posing on a bed for a Buckle advertisement.

You can also catch a glimpse of the 5-foot-8 Vietnamese and Caucasian model in an Adidas ad in the July issues of XXL and Stuff.

The 1994 Campbell High School graduate is probably most recognized locally for Liberty House and Cinnamon Girl advertisements. While she has also modeled for companies on the Mainland, most of her experience comes from work throughout Asia.

Last year, King moved to L.A., where she works as a designer for Ezekiel. She's also developing her own clothing line, Kingdom (www.kingdom76.com).

Lindbergh slept here — now it's Hana hou

The July-August issue of Coastal Living magazine gives readers a peek inside the Hana cottage where famed aviator Charles Lindbergh spent his final days in 1974.

Soon after Lorraine and Tom Brodek of Los Angeles acquired the property in the late 1990s, they redecorated it into a cozy '50s-and-Hawaiiana decor. The home was once a guest cottage where Lindbergh's doctor arranged for him to stay, Lorraine Brodek said in the magazine. "Mr. Lindbergh told his doctor he'd 'rather spend two days alive on Maui than two months in this hospital in New York City,' " she said.
