Services, procession set for officer

Funeral services for Honolulu police officer Ryan Goto will be held Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. A motorcade procession is set for Friday.

Goto was killed Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a car on Farrington Highway near Honokai Hale. He was 35.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary's Maunakea/Vineyard Chapel, 1330 Maunakea St.

Services will be from 3 to 4 p.m.

On Friday, a motorcade will leave the mortuary at 9 a.m. on a route that will pass the Honolulu Police Department's headquarters on Beretania Street.

The motorcade will end at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kane'ohe, where graveside services will be held at 10 a.m.
