• Servco Pacific Inc. recently appointed SCOTT M. YONESAKI general manager for Kaua'i Toyota. Yonesaki was previously sales manager for Toyota City and has been with the company for more than 10 years.

• Hawaii Medical service Association has announced promotions for two on its management team. MICHAEL CHENG is now senior vice president of HMSA's external operations division. He is responsible for marketing, provider services and product development and will also oversee the association's insurance subsidiaries. MICHAEL STOLLAR is now vice president of HMSA's communications department. Stollar also leads the Office of Enterprise Development, focusing on innovation.

• The Gas Co. has promoted KEITH YOSHIDA to director of business development, sales and marketing from manager of sales and marketing. Yoshida has more than 17 years of experience with the company and will play a key role in the transition of The Gas Co. to its new owner, K-1 USA Ventures of Singapore.

LEE J. STRUNK, previously an O'ahu senior account executive for The Gas Co., has also been promoted — to O'ahu sales supervisor. Strunk has 18 years experience in the gas business in Hawai'i.

KENNETH T. YAMAMOTO, a 31-year veteran of The Gas Co., has been promoted to director of human resources and safety. Yamamoto will help in the transition to new human-resources and payroll systems as the company gets its new owner.

BOB KORODAN, most recently operations superintendent at the company's synthetic natural gas plant in Campbell Industrial Park, has been named manager of environmental health and safety.

• The Park Shore Waikiki hotel has promoted STEPHANIE NOJIMA to hotel manager. Nojima was most recently Park Shore's director of sales and formerly the corporate sales manager at the Ilikai Hotel Nikko Waikiki.

GEAL FUKUMOTO TALBERT of the Edward Jones offices in Kane'ohe has achieved the professional designation of certified financial planner.

SHARI CHANG, who has been Aloha Airlines' senior vice president of sales and marketing for almost three years, will be returning as president to her own company, SWC Marketing, to pursue several e-commerce projects. Chang will continue to work with the airlines and has signed a long-term consulting agreement with it to continue overseeing its e-commerce initiatives.
