Meanwhile, Jovie Adora, 27, remains in custody at a Department of Corrections facility, Guam Attorney General Douglas Moylan said.
Adora was arrested Friday, two days after he skipped out on the court hearing.
He was to be sentenced to 20 years in prison as part of a plea agreement. He earlier pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping. The offenses involved four teenage girls, according to prosecutors.
But Adora left court after telling his attorney he didn't feel well and never returned as ordered.
He was arrested in Guam after authorities there received a tip from law enforcement officials in Hawai'i.
Honolulu Prosecutor Peter Carlisle has said Adora could face an additional charge of bail jumping, a felony that carries a five-year term.
If Adora decides to fight extradition, it's unknown how long it might take before he is returned to Hawai'i, Carlisle said.
