Of Note
"The Wire," 6 p.m., HBO. If you haven't started watching the terrific second season of this summer drama, jump in now. This is a rerun of the second episode of the series, which aired on Sundays. Tonight's story begins shortly after 13 prostitutes were found dead in a shipping crate after a botched attempt to smuggle them into the country.
"Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" (1997). 7 p.m., WB. This comedy and its sequel seem to run almost constantly on TV or cable. Still, it's a fun one to see again. Mike Myers created the notion of a special agent from the James Bond era, frozen and then brought back 30 years later.
"Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" (1997), 8 p.m., ABC Family. Back before "Friends" made her rich and famous, Lisa Kudrow starred in the theater version of this comedy about friends at their 10th reunion. Here's the movie with Mira Sorvino as Kudrow's friend. It starts well, fades, then has some good moments.
"Law & Order," 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. In the first rerun, a high-school English teacher has been stabbed to death. The case gets messier when the authorities discover she may have been part of a love triangle involving another teacher and a 16-year-old student. In the second, two drunken businessmen find a body in a trunk and that leads to a gambling operation.
