Go-Ped is the brand name of a motorized scooter made by Patmont Motor Werks. Go-Ped scooters cannot reach the speed of 45 mph and, according to the company, have better braking performance than most bicycles. Stories on June 6 and 7 incorrectly used the name Go-Ped to refer to all motorized scooters.

• Waimanalo will host a sign-waving campaign against drug abuse from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. July 18. An incorrect date was listed in a Local News story posted yesterday.

• Ryan Kuroiwa placed in the top four for the Hawai'i qualifier for the Junior World Golf Championships, in the boys division, ages 9-10. He qualified and will travel to San Diego on July 15-18. His name was omitted in Thursday's Advertiser.
