KEY HOUSE VOTES
1. Internet gambling
On Tuesday, the House passed, 319-104, a bill to slow down the growth of Internet gambling. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

2. Class action lawsuits
On Thursday, the House passed, 253-170, a bill that would make it easier for class action lawsuits to be sent to federal courts. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

3. Child tax credit
On Thursday, the House passed, 224-201, an $82 billion tax package that extends the child tax credit to 2010 and makes the benefit available to more low-income families. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

KEY SENATE VOTES
1. Nuclear power
On Tuesday, the Senate voted, 50-48, to keep a provision in the energy bill that would provide federal aid to build new nuclear reactors. A "no" vote was to provide aid to build new nuclear reactors.

2. Offshore drilling
On Thursday, the Senate rejected, 52-42, an amendment to the energy bill that would have killed a provision calling for an inventory of oil and gas resources along the Outer Continental Shelf. A "yea" vote was to strip the inventory from the bill.
