Tonight's Must-See
"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. This rerun reminds us why "Raymond" has soared, sometimes hitting No. 1 in the ratings. It creates big laughs with small stories. Returning from a vacation, Ray and Debra have left a suitcase on the stairs. Now each is too stubborn to move it or to mention it. Not much happens, but it's all built on human behavior. The result is hilarious right up to the final scene with Ray's parents.
Of Note
"Intimate Portrait," 4 p.m., Lifetime. Here's a new profile of country star Shania Twain.
"My Wife and Kids," 7 p.m., ABC. This above-average Damon Wayans comedy airs four straight reruns that start with the three-parter that sent the family on a Hawaiian vacation.
"Party with Spike at the Playboy Mansion," 5 p.m., Spike TV. Today The National Network (previously The Nashville Network) may officially change its name to Spike TV, aiming at men. Director Spike Lee won a temporary court order last week stopping TNN owner Viacom from using Spike TV as its official name, pending a trial on the issue. At press time, Viacom was filing an appeal seeking to stay the court order. This hour leads into wrestling. Guys, apparently, like Playmates and wrestlers.
"Anything for Love" premiere, 8 and 8:30 p.m., Fox. The newest reality show follows people as they try stunts to start, propel (or even end) a romance.
"The View: His and Her Body Test," 9 p.m., ABC. This daytime talk show visits prime time to ask and answer lots of health questions.
"100 Greatest Songs of the Last 25 Years," 4 & 7 p.m., VH1. Here's one of those shows that will get people talking. Tonight, we get songs No. 81-100; that will be repeated on Tuesday and followed by songs No. 61 through 80. In a five-hour spree Sunday all 100 will flash before us.
