Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. When Rachel had her baby, some fans fretted that the show would lose its spark. Those worries have faded. Baby Emma has been used sparingly to give some plots a fresh twist. In this rerun, Phoebe plans a birthday party in a fancy restaurant. Alas, Rachel doesn't want to leave the baby, in what builds into a surprisingly funny episode.

Of Note

"Nuremberg" (2000), 6 p.m., TNT. Here's a chance to see (or tape) this beautifully crafted miniseries in one gulp. Alec Baldwin plays the American lawyer prosecuting Nazi leaders after World War II. He finds powerful moments of fact — the Nazis kept meticulous records of their evil — and emotion, including chilling film from the actual Holocaust.

"Most Extreme Elimination Challenge," 6 p.m., Spike TV/TNN. A Japanese reality show, filled with odd challenges, has been given new narration.

"28 Days" (2000), 7 p.m., ABC. Sandra Bullock plays a young alcoholic causes trouble at a wedding. She's promptly sent to rehab in a comedy-drama that co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Dominic West.

"Dumb and Dumber" (1994), 7 p.m., WB. With this movie's prequel now in theaters, we keep getting new chances to see the original. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels play guys who travel cross-country to deliver a briefcase, not realizing it contains ransom money.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. Catherine scrambles to find the man who terrorizes women in their apartments.

"Frasier," 8:30 p.m., NBC. In a change of plans, NBC decided to rerun the episode in which Frasier and Niles slip into a luxury spa. It's moderately funny.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. A bride disappears from her wedding.
