JOHN RUSSELL BERKSTRESSER, 89, of Chula Vista, Calif., died May 26, 2003. Born in Cherokee, Iowa. Retired civilian employee at Hickam Air Force Base. Survived by daughters, Zemmie Iedema, Betty Jo Gibbons, Melinna Cook, Robbie Berkstresser and Tammie Suhr; son, Robert; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
