Police investigate sexual assaults

• Police are investigating allegations from a 14-year-old girl that she was sexually assaulted Thursday by a man at his Wahiawa residence.

• Police arrested a 32-year-old man yesterday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman at her Waikiki apartment. The 21-year-old woman told police that she met the man on the street and took him back to her apartment, where he sexually assaulted her. The woman sustained minor injuries during the assault, police said.

• A Kalihi woman told police that she was sexually assaulted by a stranger after he gave her a ride. The woman, 32, reported that she was assaulted on Thursday by a man in his mid-20s. The woman said she was waiting at a Kalihi bus stop when the man offered her a ride and she accepted. She said the man assaulted her after he dropped her off at her home.


Salt Lake man arrested in beatings

Police arrested a Salt Lake man on suspicion of striking his girlfriend and two family members during a family dispute Saturday at his Aliamanu Street home.

According to police, the 22-year-old suspect struck his girlfriend in the face because she didn't want to go out with him.

The man also pushed his 53-year-old father down and assaulted his 30-year-old brother-in-law, police said.
