Experimental aircraft pilots hope to fly a million kids by Dec. 17

William Schauer prepares to fly 15-year-old Leoche Morrison on an RV-4 as part of the Experimental Aircraft Association's program for Young Eagles. The goal is to fly a million youngsters before Dec. 17, the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first powered flight. The EAA program here, which began in 1992, is hosting 38 youngsters from the D.C./Maryland area this week.
