Kokx defeated Linda Johnston, 7 and 6, and will meet Ayaka Kaneko in another quarterfinal. Kaneko won, 9 and 8, over Sharon Kong.

In the bracket's lower half, Mari Chun, a 9-and-8 winner over Chris Quackenbush, will meet Ah Yuen, who beat Jade Merkle, 4 and 3. Bobbie Arakawa, who won 8 and 7 over Becky Tesch, plays Mona Kim, a 5-and-3 winner over Kuulei Ka'ae.

Tomorrow's semifinals start at 8 a.m. and Friday's championship begins at 7 a.m.
