COMING ATTRACTIONS

Three big movies are scheduled to open Wednesday as Hollywood studios hope to cash in on the long Fourth of July weekend:

Reese Witherspoon and her canine co-star Moonie return in a followup to the 2001 hit comedy with "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde." This time Elle Woods (Witherspoon) finds out that Bruiser's family members are being used as cosmetics test subjects and goes to Washington to right the wrong.

That swashbuckling hero gets the animated treatment in "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas," with voices by Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michelle Pfeiffer.

He's baaaaack. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns from the future in another action-packed sci-fi thriller, "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
