Hoobastank and No Bare Feet rock Pipeline Sunday
Still don't know what the heck Hoobastank means? Don't worry, the band doesn't have a clue either. Said Hoobastank lead singer Doug Robb last year, "I love Jamiroquai, but I don't go diving into what it means." Fair enough, Doug. Spawned in the suburbs of L.A., Hoobastank's brand of rock offers hints of post-millennial punk with a melodic pulse. Local rock stations played the heck out of the band's "Crawling In The Dark" single last year, we think. Might've been Incubus. Opening for the 'Stank will be local pop punk quintet No Bare Feet, who've been digging into O'ahu's club scene quite a bit this month. Sunday at Pipeline Café, 7 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 pre-sale, $20 on show day. 589-1999.
