FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK has announced promotions for two on its management team: JAYLENE S.L. TSUKAYAMA is now vice president and manager for the home banking department. She joined the company in 1991 as a research and development analyst. LAURAE U. IMAMURA is now assistant vice president of the commercial loan center. She joined First Hawaiian in 1980 as a teller.
Also joining First Hawaiian Bank: JEFFREY M. MURATA, business banking officer of the Lihu'e Branch; STUART SHIBANO, business lending officer of the dealer center division; and DARLENE A. TSUBOTA, business services officer of the merchant services department.
WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT recently appointed JOHN MEDLOCK golf sales manager. He is responsible for the marketing of Waikoloa's award-winning golf courses. Medlock was most recently the operations manager for Medlock Enterprises in California and marketing director for Martin & MacArthur in Honolulu. He also served the Hawai'i division of Ogilvy & Mather as a senior account executive.
KAHI MOHALA BEHAVIORAL HEALTH has announced COLBERT MATSUMOTO as the chairman of the 2003-04 board of trustees. Matsumoto is the president of Island Holdings and is also the chairman and CEO of Island Insurance Co.
THE HAWAII BANKERS ASSOCIATION has named its new officers for the new fiscal year: WARREN K.K. LUKE, president and CEO of Hawaii National Bank, is president; CONSTANCE H. LAU, president and CEO of American Savings Bank is vice president; DONALD G. HORNER, president and CEO of First Hawaiian Bank is secretary and treasurer; and RODNEY R. SHINKAWA is executive vice president and association director.
ELIZABETH FITZGERALD has joined international public relations agency Sheila Donnelly & Associates as an account executive. She will be handling publicity and promotions for several high-profile properties. Fitzgerald was most recently the director of special events and public relations at Turtle Bay Resort.
Honolulu-based NetEnterprise, a full-service information technology company, has hired LESTER MORIKAWA as an account executive. Morikawa was previously a corporate account executive at Boise Office Solutions.
NetEnterprise has also added JUSTIN ITO to its accounting department. Ito, a recent business graduate of the University of Washington, will be responsible for accounts payable.
