The Honolulu Advertiser is getting ready to play the dating game.

We're looking for single men 21 and older to apply to be Hawai'i's Bachelor. Readers will help us choose the right guy, and then we'll ask for women who want to date him.

The price of participation is a little publicity. You have to let a reporter and photographer trail you for stories about what happens. And you have to share your thoughts in an online diary.

The game will begin once we've chosen a bachelor and 10 women for the dating pool. Then we'll send you out on dates and write about whether you've made a love connection.

Even if you don't play, you can get involved. Online voters will choose Hawai'i's Bachelor, and as the dates progress, your comments will help our bachelor choose who should stay in the game. Stay posted on developments at www.honoluluadvertiser.com.

The prize could be finding your true love. But you can't win if you don't enter.
