CALL FOR DOCENTS

Queen Emma Summer Palace offers a 10-week docent training course. Volunteer docents receive training on the museum's collection and its relationship to the history of the Hawaiian monarchy. Classes are 9 a.m.-noon each Monday beginning March 17. Training cost is $100 for The Daughters of Hawai'i members, $130 for nonmembers. 595-3167.

CALLS TO ARTISTS

Honolulu Printmakers, seeks entries for the March 12-April 6 juried 75th Anniversary Exhibition. Works in all hand-printing media may be submitted by O'ahu artists 2-6 p.m. Friday, Academy Art Center at Linekona. Neighbor Island work must be shipped to Honolulu Printmakers by Wednesday. The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts announces that applications are being accepted for the Visual Arts Fellowship for professional artists working in two- and three-dimensional media. The Digital Art Society of Hawai'i seeks entries of digital art from Hawai'i artists 18 or older for the first-ever statewide juried exhibition of digital art.
