Roland and Alma Ahuna Sr. of Kane'ohe celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a lunch given by their three children on Jan. 11 at the C'est Si Bon Room at the Pagoda Hotel. The Ahunas were married Jan. 8, 1943, in Honolulu and have three children, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is a retired bus driver and she is a retired practical nurse and musician. Sage Ann Pulelehua Mahana Tina Soberano of Honolulu celebrated her first birthday at a garden party hosted by her parents, Sean and Kahea Soberano, and her older brother, Seth, on Jan. 30 at their home in Kaimuki. Sage was born Jan. 28, 2002.
