Tonight's Must-See

"Married by America" premiere, 7 p.m., Fox. While the other networks are buying British ideas for reality shows, Fox makes up its own. In the "Joe Millionaire" aftermath, it has another bizarre one. Today and Wednesday, we'll meet five singles who say they're eager for marriage. Friends and relatives will be shown five prospects for each and will trim that to two. Viewers choose the best match. At the end of that, five people will have become engaged to strangers. In the weeks ahead, we'll watch them plan their weddings; only in the finale (tentatively scheduled for April 14) will we learn which ones actually go through with it.

Of Note

"Hollywood Celebrates Denzel Washington," 6 p.m., AMC. The gifted Oscar winner is honored in a special hosted by Jamie Foxx.

"Fear Factor," 7 p.m., NBC. The show expands to 90 minutes with its contestants undertaking four challenges instead of three.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. Here's a terrific rerun. Ray has no clue what to get his wife for Christmas. Robert — who actually listens to her — has a great idea for him. When Ray takes all the credit, however, the aftershocks are both serious and hilarious.

"Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye," 8 p.m., Pax TV. This excellent rerun pairs two fine actors who happen to be married. Deanne Bray stars as an FBI agent; Troy Kotsur guests as a car thief. Both actors are deaf and some scenes are done in sign language, with subtitles.

"Meet My Folks," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Maybe networks get all their ideas from watching beer commercials. In tonight's expanded episode, Carlos Calderon is the lucky hunk; three sets of beautiful twins want to romance him. His parents will choose which twins to send with him on a Hawai'i vacation.

"C.S.I: Miami," 9 p.m., CBS. In this rerun, a controversial professor taught his students about pain. Now he's been killed.
