Weddings

Jacquelyn Schiereck, daughter of Chris Schiereck and Pat Schiereck, and Micheal Brown, son of the late Don and Sharon Brown, were married Nov. 4 in Las Vegas. The bride (1989 Mililani High, 2000 UH bachelor's), now Jacquelyn Schiereck Brown, is an office manager. The groom (1969 El Rancho High, Calif.) is a tattoo artist. They live in Honolulu. Their children are Strom Schiereck, Gloria Brown, Michael Brown and Eric Brown.

Mei Wah Akamu Watson, daughter of Pamela Olivas of Honolulu, and Ralph Laanui Kaneaiakala, son of Ben and Karen Kaneaiakala of Honolulu, were married Dec. 28 at Aloha Ke Akua Chapel, Kahalu'u. The reception followed at Aloha Ke Akua. The bride (1994 Kalani High, 2002 UH bachelor's), now Mei Wah Akamu Watson Kaneaiakala, is a graduate student. The groom attended Farrington High and graduated in 1990, receiving his associate's degree from Honolulu Community College. They live in Honolulu.
