Tonight's Must-See

"American Idol," 7 p.m., FOX. "24" takes a break this week to make room for this two-hour episode in which all of the finalists perform. Afterward, viewers vote. Tomorrow, we'll learn which two have been ousted.

Of Note

"A Few Good Men" (1992), 3 p.m., TBS. "The West Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin adapted his own play about a military murder trial, and director Rob Reiner chose a consummate cast. Tom Cruise and Demi Moore play lawyers and Jack Nicholson is the base commander.

"Great Expectations" (1998), 6 & 10:20 p.m., AMC. Charles Dickens' tale is transplanted to modern Florida and stars Ethan Hawke as a painter pursuing his unrequited love (Gwyneth Paltrow). Robert De Niro also stars.

"The Object of My Affection," (1998), 6 p.m., ABC Family. Jennifer Aniston is terrific in this thoughtful comedic drama. Aniston plays a social worker named Nina who finds herself pregnant by her obnoxious attorney boyfriend whom she has recently dumped. Enter George (Paul Rudd), a good-looking and very gay first-grade schoolteacher. They become friends, and he moves in and promises to stand by her. The story turns bittersweet when Nina falls hard for George, who in turn, is falling in love himself ... with someone else.

"JAG," 7 p.m., CBS. This series came after "A Few Good Men," and borrows the idea of male and female military lawyers. Tonight, the CIA makes it difficult to investigate the loss of a submarine.

"Frasier," 8 p.m., NBC. When their caviar becomes a hit at a party, Frasier and Niles start using it to get social favors.

"Judging Amy," 9 p.m., CBS. In a rerun, Amy presides over the case centering on a pregnant teacher. She says a student raped her. He says she seduced him.
