Health services deal announced

A subsidiary of Milwaukee-based Cobalt Corp. announced it was awarded a $5.8 million contract from the state to provide audit and reimbursement services for all acute-care hospitals, long-term-care facilities and medical clinics.

The rate-setting and audit services cover Hawai'i medical facilities that receive Medicaid reimbursements.

The contract with United Government Services LLC runs through June 30, 2005, with an option to extend.
