He then scored a third period takedown and held off Morita, another freshman.

• FIFTH PLACE: Ryan Hamaguchi (Iolani) defeated Richard Harris (Moloka'i), 6-5

• Championship: Kyle Muraoka (Iolani) def. Kevin Takasaki (Punahou) 5-2. The unseeded Muraoka scored his points on a take down in the first period, a reversal in the second and an escape in the third. Takasaki was the No. 1 seed.

• THIRD PLACE: Trenton Mericle ('Aiea) defeated Waylen Mata-Eseri (Kamehameha), 4-3

• FIFTH PLACE: Nahe Matsuoka (Konawaena) defeated T.J. Kuahine (Kamehameha), 3-2

• Championship: Patrick Stachel (Kamehameha) def. Riley Schmidtke (Mid-Pacific) 7-5. Stachel, the No. 1 seed, built a 6-2 lead after the second period and the unseeded Schmidtke, the defending champion, rallied to cut it to 6-5. Stachel beat Schmidtke for the ILH championship two weeks ago.

• THIRD PLACE: Sam Gorman (Pearl City) pinned Ryan Buffett (Damien), 4:27

• FIFTH PLACE: Michael Rabaino (Kahuku) defeated Jody Kristofferson (Hana), 10-3

• Championship: Vincent Scott (Saint Louis) defeated Noah Amba (Kamehameha) 7-5. The unseeded Scott scored a takedown just a few seconds into overtime to rally past Amba, the No. 1 seed. Amba had led 4-3 in the third period, but Scott had a takedown to go up, 5-4, before Amba tied it with an escape in the final seconds.

• THIRD PLACE: Noah Palmerton (Moanalua) defeated Tobey Kaaiaia (Pearl City), 5-1

• FIFTH PLACE: Walden Au (Iolani) defeated Micah Stevens (HPA), 5-3

• Championship: Rory Jones (Leilehua) def. Frank Fernandez (Saint Louis) 4-2. The match was tied 1-all and the undersized Jones, the No. 1 seed, scored a point on an escape in the second and went up 4-1 on a take down with 40 seconds remaining in the third. Fernandez, the No. 2 seed, scored the final point on an escape with eight seconds remaining.

• THIRD PLACE: Michael Lafaele (Farrington) defeated Blake Mokiao (Hilo), 2-1

• FIFTH PLACE: Sheryl Manglaylay (Lahainaluna) defeated Tariya Enos (Kamehameha), 9-8.

• THIRD PLACE: Shyla Iokia (Wai'anae) defeated Cara-Anne Machado (Farrington), by superior (12-2)

• FIFTH PLACE: Danica Lute (Lana'i) defeated Krislyn Mostoles (Waiakea), by superior (8-0)

• Championship: Jasmine Norman (Kealakehe) defeated Jazmine Cockett (Kamehameha), 7-6 in two overtimes. Norman build a 6-1 lead only to see Cockett come back in the third period. After a scoreless first overtime, Cockett won the toss and took the down position. In the second overtime, wrestlers are given 30 seconds to either escape (down position) and maintain control (up position). Cockett tried to break free and pulled Norman out of the ring four times. But Norman held onto gain a point and the victory.

• THIRD PLACE: Lauren Primiano (Punahou) pinned Ashlee Estioko (Kahuku), 2:10.

• FIFTH PLACE: Tina Greig (Kapolei) defeated Schell Patterson (King Kekaulike), 12-6.

• Championship: Kehau Kamauoha (Kahuku) pinned Robyn Mizuno (Punahou) at 1:44. Kamauoha, the No. 1 seed, built a 5-0 lead on a takedown and three near-fall points before pinning the second-seeded Mizuno.

• THIRD PLACE: Chelsea Berdon (Kamehameha) defeated Chanel Meletia (Hawai'i Baptist), 3-1.

• FIFTH PLACE: Shana Simons (Waiakea) pinned Kamalei Terukina (Moanalua), :44.

• FIFTH PLACE: Mailei Nitta (Kamehameha) pinned Starr Kekoa (Pearl City), 2:00.
